Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 7, 2025

We respect your privacy. This policy explains how your information is handled when you use SpectralSync.

What We Collect

SpectralSync does not collect or store any personal information. The app functions entirely in your browser and does not use any form of tracking, analytics, or third-party scripts.

How It Works

  • The app connects directly to Spotify's OAuth 2.0 system (Authorization Code with PKCE Flow) through your browser.
  • Your Spotify session is handled securely within your browser environment and is not shared with or stored by SpectralSync.
  • All playlist transfers happen in real-time through Spotify's API. No data is saved, uploaded, or stored anywhere.
  • Authentication tokens are stored temporarily in your browser's session storage only and are cleared when you close the tab.

Your Control

  • You can revoke SpectralSync's access to your Spotify account at any time through your Spotify account settings.
  • All authentication is handled directly by Spotify - we never see your password or credentials.
  • You control which playlists to transfer and which accounts to connect.

Third Parties

SpectralSync only interacts with Spotify through their official API. No third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools are used. No information is shared externally.

Data Processing

  • All processing happens directly in your browser - no server-side processing
  • Playlist data is fetched from your source account and immediately transferred to your target account
  • No playlist data, track information, or user data is stored on any server
  • The only data temporarily stored is the authentication token in your browser's session storage
